Haven't been on in years. Thought I'd start playing around on the site again.

the things i support on NG

2011-11-29 19:44:33 by paradigmvulpes

the wax- i love the sonic shorts
the interviewer- adding a bit of class to this already classy site. by the way, i am in no way affiliated with the interviewer other than a fan of what he (they?) do on this site, the link in my forum signature is for support, not to take credit in anyway.
Not the clocks- NOT A FAN
the writing forum-because i don't know how to animate...yet.
VG Cats-anything that over-saturated in video game parodies is OK in my book, and i did anthropomorphic characters, probably because of my interest in animals, serious, the vulpes in my name is the genus for foxes.
More to come-

but i cant, so i write on this site, or type if you want to get specific, hopefully one day iill figure out the animation deal, but i real don't even know what to do, so i stick to the typing. by the way, i'm currently working on a story, look for the friction starter thread , read some of it, its very open write now, but i haven't seen very much activity, other than one helpful person.
anyways, i thought i'd put this up here cause i got tired of looking at my compatibility quiz, which is sort of stupid anyways.
the fact that you read this probably means you accidentally clicked on the wrong thing.

history of banishment

2010-09-11 19:23:06 by paradigmvulpes

1. posting post with the same name-several hours banned
2.posting on a spam thread-day banned (i didnt even know)
3.complaining about a deleted thread(similar to this post) by creating threads-two days banned.
4."bumping an ancient thread from 2001 for a stupid reason. dont bump threads just because its the oldesy one you bring back up"- bahamut. 5 days banned i looked through the rules and couldnt find my self in violation...
5. banned 7 days. reason for ban-
" "bumping an old topic without a good reasonand new information" its right there in the rules even if you try to conribute to a really old thread, its really redundant considereing the majority of users from 2001 have moved on from NG. just leave old threads to die."
- bahamut
i figure i got ban #5 for the same reason as ban #4. i also got a thread locked in the process. maybe part of the reason is that i called out bahamut in a subtle way, trying to say that im contributing ( and using his name, creating an allusion to ban # 4), revise my reason for being banned in #4. my only question is...are 2002 threads off limits?

is this braking a rule?

2010-09-11 00:43:48 by paradigmvulpes

If you break these rules, you'll earn an instant ban regardless of which moderator sees the post(s).

Using racist, sexist, homophobic or hateful language.
Posting pornographic (including cartoon porn) or NSFW (Not Safe For Work) material. Exceptions include NG staff or if you're posting to the Art Forum and it's relevant rather than downright perverted.
Linking to pornographic or NSFW material without a clear warning.
Linking to viruses, referral sites, or maliciously coded websites either in your signature or in your post.
Discussing illegal activities - including, but not limited to: ROMs, cracks, warez and hacking.
Instigating or discussing malicious attacks on other websites
Posting with an alternate account whilst banned or your main account while an alt is banned. Both accounts may be deleted.
Posting any member's real life information without permission.
Impersonating Administrators, Moderators, or Newgrounds regulars.
Bumping any old topic without a good reason and new information.
Making multiple short posts (five words or less) over a short time period.
Attempting to smartass your way around these rules.
If you break these rules, you're definitely risking being banned. Think before you post.

Remaking or complaining about a locked or deleted thread by creating a new thread.
Complaining or boasting about any ban, including comments in signature text.
Backseat modding: pointing out what needs to be deleted, banned, locked or destroyed.
Posting flashing or strobing images, or picture spamming: repeatedly posting the same picture or posting irrelevant / overused images such as the FAIL picture.
ALL CAPS posting.
Chasing / harassing / flaming other users, regardless of who instigated it.
Harassing other users by having a continuous negative or bitter attitude towards them.
Insulting or harassing the moderators or administrators.
Trolling: cruising the boards looking for a fight.
Sniping or knocking established NG groups, such as the Clocks, Locks, IWP.
Repeatedly advertising your website.
Recreating a thread that has been created recently. Use the search bar before hitting "New Topic".
Posting excessively in a language other than English for the sole purpose of excluding the majority of the users.
Making "Hi, I'm new", "I'm back", or "I'm leaving NG" threads without significant content pertinent to your situation.
Creating parody threads or posting with gimmick accounts.
Making stats threads.
Posting "Use the search", "Use Google" or similar messages without providing relevant links.
Posting lame chat conversations. No one cares. Seriously.
Attempting to smartass your way around these rules.

wow, back when i posted this i was getting banned a lot, not so much anymore, anyways, i still don't like the clocks, but everyone has a right to be on this site.

racism. everyone is racist to some degree, some times its positive, or used for comedy. no one can say that here no racist, studys shows that whites have a harder time identifying blacks from blacks, is even considered weak evidence in court. clearly the DNA of a caucasion and african is different, as the skin is of different pigments and whites cant get sicklecellanemia, unless they have blacks in there family tree.i do admit, my level of racism is probably higher than others.

--- although apparently white can get sickle-cell anemia, that doesn't change the fact that everyone's a little racist, even if its playful, even if you have a black friend, there is still that tiny tiny racist cell in your body.

post resurection

2010-09-04 19:42:55 by paradigmvulpes

atleast once every day that i go on newgrounds, i like to do a post resurection. i hope it catches on and karma has someone resurect me. if you see (post resurection) on a post, its my good deed. so ask your self," have you saved a dying post today?"

although recently i have given up this effort, i think i might get back in the habit....
i posted this a while back, and i have indeed given up on it...

color vision

2010-08-23 20:33:49 by paradigmvulpes

i was thinking, what if people saw colors differently, for example, when i look at green,or what you think is green, i acually see white. but the person who tought me that its green was tought the same, though they actually see brown. and since no one can see through someone elses eye in coordination with thier brain, how could people now if they saw different colors? its wierd, but what stops it from being true? crazy shit, they should do a study or something i think.

what if there are colors we cant see...would that evenmean that they exist?
just saying...
its blue, i swear it.
